{"id":1604,"date":"2015-12-10T12:04:33","date_gmt":"2015-12-10T17:04:33","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/amentorwalkswithme.com\/?p=1604"},"modified":"2015-12-10T12:04:33","modified_gmt":"2015-12-10T17:04:33","slug":"random-morning-perspective","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/amentorwalkswithme.com\/?p=1604","title":{"rendered":"Random Morning Perspective"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In a world where <em>externally-motivated approval,\u00a0wealth-accumulating desire,<\/em> and <em>survival of the fittest<\/em> are the norms of day-to-day existence, have we lost our sense of inner power, interdependence and interconnectedness?<\/p>\n<p>If the lessons of our ancestors (and the results of modern neurological research) teach us that we as humans are intended to seek feelings of\u00a0interconnectedness and\u00a0happiness, and that we have the power to make choices, have we lost our direction?<\/p>\n<p>What if, through all of these centuries, we as humans have defined God in a manner which helps us personally explain <em>our deep desire for<\/em> <em>feelings of interconnectedness and happiness<\/em>?<\/p>\n<p>What if, instead of looking for these feelings externally (through approval from a perceived higher external power, wealth, or competitive success), we just focus our day-to-day living on practicing\u00a0feelings of mutual interconnectedness and happiness?<\/p>\n<p>What would that look like?
